Vice President of Homeownership Programs
Mounzer M. Aylouche is MassHousing’s Vice President of Homeownership Programs. Mounzer oversees all aspects of MassHousing’s homeownership business, including production, lending operations, mortgage insurance, and loan servicing.
Since 2020, MassHousing has financed $3.4 billion in home loans to more than 11,000 Massachusetts households, including $1.6 billion in mortgages to minority homebuyers, and $1.5 billion in lending to low-income homebuyers.
Mounzer has been at MassHousing for nearly 30 years, serving as Manager of Homeownership Business Development, secondary marketing officer, and relationship manager in the Agency’s Homeownership Division.
Throughout his 39-year career in the home mortgage lending industry, he has held positions in loan servicing, secondary marketing, loan origination, and senior management.
Mounzer is a native of Lebanon and is fluent in Arabic and French. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, Cum Laude, in Financial Management and Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.
Mounzer is a past Chairman of the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association (MMBA) and the past president of the MMB Foundation, the charitable arm of the organization. He has been instrumental in the MMBA’s support of nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts that promote homebuyer education and counseling. He was also influential in establishing the MMBA community college scholarship program for low- and moderate-income students in Massachusetts.
